“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

We are a group of local teens, committed to living differently and setting our minds on “Things of The Spirit.” Bonding in fellowship and accountability in the scope of God’s love.

1 Peter tells us that we are “born again” in the resurrection of Christ, and thus have an inheritance that is imperishable. We are called as heirs of Christ to live in a manner worthy of him. We are all sinners, and were born into darkness. But by making the ultimate sacrifice and sending his Son as a substitution for our sin. Because of God’s love for us, we are called out of the darkness and into his WONDERFUL LIGHT. Our purpose is to be a group defined by God’s love, constantly basking in His light. Being a teenager can at times be tough, which is why it is critical to develop close Christian friends who can help keep us in His light. The role of this group, is to offer a safe haven from this sinful world. This means we share in each other’s struggles and we rejoice in each other’s joy! We therefore welcome all people to this group, no matter where you are at with your faith. For those looking for a place to fit in, a place to rejoice, and a place further, or even begin your walk with Christ. Come join us in declaring His Excellencies!

We meet Every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM in Luther Hall at Messiah. God longs for us to connect with Him through His Word. Committing yourself to Sunday Bible study can be CRITICAL in building that connection so please join us on Sundays!

This Year’s theme | (Im)perfect Examples

Throughout God’s word, He always tends to choose ordinary people. What’s more, often times he will chose people for specific purposes that they feel less-than-confident about. The beauty is, that God consistently equips his vessels to be used for His good. In the same way, God has chosen us, perhaps even for roles we would never think. Join us in studying some of the best examples of  His children. In doing so, we will connect some of their “inadequacies” with your own, and learn how God may be calling you.
