Our Curious Cubs classroom is full of energy and on the move! Students in our Curious Cubs program are ready for the routine of a classroom day. From the time they are dropped off in the morning to the time they are picked up in the afternoon this classroom is a busy place! It is action-packed and full of fun with purposeful play that helps toddlers develop and grow. Our toddler room is the perfect place for your child to learn valuable communication, self-regulation, and coping skills while navigating their big emotions. We focus on laying the foundation for a positive learning experience so that children are equipped to face their daily challenges.
With fun hands-on, and playful learning opportunities, your child will be captivated while learning a variety of new skills while practicing the ‘old’ ones. Our dedicated Toddler Staff create a classroom environment that promotes learning and development at the child’s level. Because your child is curious and imaginative, our creative, hands-on, intentional Frog Street curriculum inspires learning. We embrace a variety of learning styles. Children in our Curious Cubs classroom are learning skills in a Christ-centered welcoming environment of love and encouragement. Our 1:7 student to teacher ratio makes us distinctive by design. To light a spark in your child’s faith, we spend time together each day praying, praising and worshipping God.

hands-on learning
Every day is a NEW day of discoveries and milestones! As children transition to the Owls and/or Cubs classroom our Frog Street Curriculum provides a joyful, researched based framework specially designed for toddlers 16 months to 33 months. The age is all about exploration, emerging independence, and building meaningful connections.
Toddlerhood is an explosion of language! Using Frog Street curriculum, we nurture vocabulary and verbal expression through interactive storytelling, fingerplay, rhymes, and songs. Teachers continuously label actions, feelings, and object to build rich language skills. We also expand on basic sign language and encourage emerging sentences giving toddler tools they need to express their thoughts, wants, and needs.
Social and emotional development is woven into everything we do. Integrating Conscious Disciple, we create a safe compassionate atmosphere where toddlers learn to identify and regulate their big emotions. Throughout soothing breathing techniques (Like the star breathe or balloon breathe) positive encouragement and simple conflict resolution modeling, teacher help toddlers navigate peer interactions, sharing, and building self- regulation skill ins a loving, supportive setting.
